From twenty-year-old turret punch presses to three-year-old lasers, we have the competence and experience to provide turnkey services in most areas of the country. Founder Doug MacLean has spent his entire adult life in the Fabrication industry, His career began in 1985 as an Amada America service technician in the New England area. He swiftly rose through the ranks and became one of the company’s top service technicians. In 1991, Doug was given the opportunity to relocated to Atlanta with Amada to sell new equipment across the Southeast. His technical service knowledge and interpersonal skills quickly immersed him in the southeastern manufacturing community. By 1996 Doug had recognized a void in the industry. There was lots of used equipment but not much quality equipment. He left Amada in Atlanta to join Redwood International Machinery in Illinois as a partner and started a refurbishing program. There he and his partners specialized in refurbishing and selling pre-owned Amada equipment. After 15 years with Redwood and three children later, Doug resigned from Redwood to start MacLean Machinery Network out of Tucker, GA. Since incorporation in 2010, MacLean Machinery Network has shipped over 500 machines across the globe and has become the industry standard for refurbished Amada machines.
